About Earth Pledge's FutureFashion Textile Library
Earth Pledge is proud to launch its FutureFashion Textile Library as the go-to information source for eco-friendly fabrics. We promote renewable, reusable and nonpolluting materials and processes at every step of the supply chain. Since 2004, we've connected designers and suppliers in the sustainable design process, and have encouraged investment in innovative technologies and techniques that restore the balance between human and natural systems associated with fashion. We work with farmers, mills, designers, manufacturers, brands and retailers.
The materials in our library are produced with sustainable fibers and/or using sustainable processes and techniques. Images of these fabrics along with information on their manufacture, composition and ordering can be found in our online library database. These fabrics are searchable by vendor, fabric type, fiber, structure, construction, certifications and/or country of origin. Each fabric record contains contact information for the vendor that can be used to order fabrics.
Information on the sustainable fibers, sustainable dyeing and finishing techniques, and sustainable certifications of these fabrics can also be found through the links below. We have included questions to ask fabric suppliers about the sustainable qualities of their fabrics, in order to help buyers in their sourcing. We hope we have created a tool that more easily and effectively connects designers with suppliers of these fabrics, accelerating the fashion industry's transition to sustainability.
