B.I.O.G.A.S Bringing Innovative Organic Garbage Alternatives to Schools

Through a grant provided by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, we are working to install small-scale digesters at local schools and public housing locations in order to implement AD technology and ensure that its benefits are distributed to all communities.

Waste=Fuel Symposium

On May 12th, 2003, Earth Pledge hosted The Future of Sustainable Waste Management, to explore the relationship between waste and energy in the context of New York City's current and emerging waste management practices.

Waste=Fuel Roundtable Series

The Waste=Fuel Roundtable Series will gather experienced practitioners and distinguished thinkers from around the world to share ideas and knowledge about AD infrastructure. Topics will include financing AD, food waste collection and transportation infrastructure, and AD engineering specifics.

RESEARCH

Organic Waste Life Cycle Study

Earth Pledge will conduct a comparative study measuring the environmental, economic, and energy costs of a variety of waste collection methods, including icineration, landfilling, composting, and AD. Results will be used to assist in public policy decisions.
